Racy Lim (b. 1994, Singapore) is a writer, editor, creative producer and arts programmer. With a background in psychology & media studies, she primarily researches on digital sociology, politics and gender studies. Her work involves editing, writing, exhibition curation and programming, art and design management.

She is the editor of sand magazine, a publication (est. 2016) that documents contemporary art and studies the social environment. The first print issue was featured at Venice Biennale 2017. The second issue launched at Taipei Art Book Fair, 2018. In 2019, she moderated at Singapore Writers Festival as publication editor.

Working along streams of art and design, she co-founded design and branding studio (2018-22) Such A Mood, and had been a part of fashion-visual arts collective, Why Not (2018-20). She was also contributing editor at Men’s Folio Singapore (2020-22).

As a curator/creative producer, she has co-curated art exhibitions, Photography & Dining with Leica CL (2019) at Telok Ayer Arts Club, Singapore and The Deepest Blue (2018) at Gillman Barracks, Singapore. She co-organised Technology in Art (2018) at Supernormal, Singapore and The Orchid; The Wasp (2021), Singapore Art Week. Most recently she co-curated Fated love sky (2022) at Singapore Art Week.

Her arts engagement sits in gender expression, thought and practices focused on realities, reconciliation and security.

In a previous life, she wrote music content - having interviewed artistes including Billie Eilish, Aurora, Snail Mail, CHVRCHES, Devandra Banhart, and more.

She is currently available for freelance editorial work.
